The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur has started accepting applications for its full-time PhD Program 2025. The last date to apply is May 10, 2025. The four-year doctoral program, fully funded by IIM Raipur, aims to nurture scholars with strong academic potential and global research aspirations. Selected candidates will receive financial support throughout the program.

Candidates must submit their applications online through the official portal, uploading scanned copies of:
- Academic mark sheets and certificates

- Category certificates (if applicable)

IIM Raipur PhD programme: Check eligibility criteri
Interested candidates must meet specific academic qualifications and possess valid entrance exam scores to apply.
Mandatory Exam Scores
Applicants must have a valid scorecard from one of the following exams, obtained on or after July 1, 2023:
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) (UGC/CSIR)
- University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET)
- Common Admission Test (CAT)
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet at least one of the following academic qualifications:
- Master’s degree from IIMs or an equivalent institution with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
- Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) with a degree, or Company Secretary (CS) with a B.Com degree and minimum 60% aggregate marks.
- Four-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent.
- Five-year Integrated Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate marks after completing 10+2.
Relaxation for Reserved Categories
A 5% relaxation in minimum academic qualifications will be granted to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates.

IIM Raipur PhD programme: Financial support
The institute has clearly outlined the financial support that will be offered to students selected for the 4-year-PhD programme. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹50,000 for the first and second years, which will increase to ₹55,000 per month in the third and fourth years upon successful completion of the comprehensive exam. Additionally, candidates will be eligible for financial assistance of ₹2,00,000 over four years to support participation in international and national conferences, as well as doctoral colloquiums. The institute will also provide a contingency grant and a one-time laptop allowance of up to ₹50,000.
