Rajasthan REET 2024 exam today: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct the REET 2024 examination on February 27 and 28, 2025. The exam will take place in two shifts each day, with the first shift running from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET), also known as the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET), is a state-level exam conducted by RBSE for Level 1 and Level 2 papers. According to reports, a total of 4,61,321 candidates will appear in the first shift, while 5,41,599 candidates will take the exam in the second shift. The exam will be held across 1,731 examination centers in 41 districts of Rajasthan.

Important Instructions for REET 2024 Candidates

Candidates appearing for the exam must follow essential guidelines on the exam day. They should reach the exam center by 8:00 AM for the first shift and by 1:00 PM for the second shift on both days. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with a valid Aadhaar card or any other photo identity proof. Candidates must bring a blue or black ballpoint pen for the exam.
Upon being seated, candidates should carefully read the instructions provided in the question paper booklet and OMR sheet. The use of mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, purses, handbags, and diaries inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Regarding dress code, candidates are allowed to wear shirts, t-shirts, kurtas, kurtis, and warm jerseys or sweaters without pockets or large buttons. They must wear chappals or sandals with thin soles. Carrying any intoxicants, beedi, cigarettes, or gutkha inside the examination center is strictly forbidden. Additionally, candidates are not permitted to take the question paper booklet outside the exam hall after completing the test. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

REET 2025 Revised Exam Pattern

After qualifying for the REET 2025 exam, candidates must appear for a separate entrance test based on the updated pattern and syllabus. The exam consists of two papers: Paper I for teachers of Classes 1 to 5 and Paper II for teachers of Classes 6 to 8. Both papers contain 150 questions carrying 150 marks each. Candidates have the option to appear for both papers.
The exam follows a negative marking system, where 1/3rd of a mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. The total exam carries 300 marks and has a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Level 1 is designed for candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Level 2 is for those aspiring to teach Classes 6 to 8.
