The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the exam schedule for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2024. The BPSC 70th CCE Mains will be conducted over five days, from April 25 to April 30, 2025.
BPSC 70th Mains 2024: Exam dates announced
The registration process for the BPSC 70th Mains will commence on February 21, 2025, and continue until March 17, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the official website – bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
The BPSC 70th CCE Mains is conducted for various administrative positions, including those in the Bihar Administrative Service, Bihar Police Service, and other state government departments. Candidates who qualified for the preliminary examination can now proceed to the next stage of the selection process.
Exam Schedule & Timings
April 25: Two shifts – 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
April 26 & April 28: Single shift – 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
April 29: Two shifts – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
April 30: Single shift – 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
BPSC 70th Mains Exam Pattern
The mains examination consists of four papers:
- General Hindi
- General Studies Paper 1
- General Studies Paper 2
- Optional Subject Paper
Candidates will be assessed based on their performance in the mains examination and a subsequent interview round. The total number of vacancies for various administrative posts is 2035.
The merit list will be prepared based on a total of 1020 marks, which includes:
- General Studies (Paper 1 & Essay): 900 marks
- Interview Round: 120 marks
