GSEB Gujarat Board class 10, 12 exam 2025 begins tomorrow: Over 14 lakh candidates to appear

GSEB SSC, HSC Exam 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will commence the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams from Thursday. A total of 14.28 lakh students across the state will appear for the exams. The board has designated 989 exam centers for Class 10 and 672 centers for Class 12.
On the first day, students will be welcomed at their respective centers before entering the examination halls. To ensure a fair examination process, all schools have been equipped with CCTV cameras. Additionally, a tracking application will monitor the movement of question papers until they reach the examination halls, preventing paper leaks.
As per official data, the exams will be conducted from February 27 to March 17, 2025. To manage the process smoothly, the board has established 87 zones for Class 10 and 59 zones for Class 12. Among Class 10 students, 8,92,882 candidates have registered, including regular, private, repeater, and differently-abled students. Similarly, for Class 12 general stream, 4,23,909 students are registered, while the science stream has 1,11,384 candidates.
For Class 10, exams will be held in 3,203 buildings with 31,397 blocks, while Class 12 science exams will take place in 554 buildings with 5,680 blocks. Meanwhile, the general stream exam will be conducted in 1,465 buildings with 13,914 blocks.
To prevent malpractices, mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside exam halls. The board has urged students and parents to stay alert against misinformation regarding question paper leaks on social media.
